I thought I'd steal some time on Mum's computer (slooooow, it is) to show you what happens when I'm restricted in my online time...
FOs!
First I've finished the top-down raglan and I would just like to say I love it! It is without a doubt the best-fitting jumper I have ever made for myself. The only thing I'll change next time is the neck. There's no shaping and the front is a little high for my liking. And there will definitely be a next time! I'm already thinking of which yarn to use next...
I had a bit of a startitis problem on Sunday and cast on for this hat. I used Debbie Bliss Aran Tweed on 5mm and 4.5mm needles. The pattern is the 'Live Dangerously, No Swatch Hat' pattern from Susan Pierce Lawrence of 'I'm Knitting As Fast As I Can'. I cast on 8 stitches on 5mm needles and did four sets of increases till I reached 88 stitches. Then I swapped to 4.5mm needles and did the rest of the hat in 2x2 garter rib pattern. I really like it and it fits!
Sorry for the lack of links but I am bereft of my favourites and too lazy to Google for them!
Very nice sweater and hat! I love Debbie Bliss yarns.

Nice sweater! I love top down for the great fits you can get.
That hat pattern sounds fab.
